Videogame Heroes #1: Banjo-Kazooie

I love playing videogames!
Besides fun, they are a huge source of inspiration for my illustration work.

So, as a homage to the dozens of characters I had these great adventures with and explored the most beautiful worlds with, I'm going to draw a couple of them every now and then.

Above the first two: Banjo & Kazooie from the N64 games: Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie

I actually never owned a Nintendo 64, but every holliday I used to rent one, just to play one of these two games (and Mario 64).
I loved the art style, the soundtrack was amazing and the dialogues were hilarious.
Banjo & Kazooie are in my opinion the funniest characters I ever played with!

Ah yes, BK, without a doubt my most favorite game within my whole n64 collection! I never had enough of it, the whole atmosphere, the funny dialogues, the catchy music and tunes, and the fun yet challenging levels. it all felt so complete ^^
